Ori Accent Chair is an innovative furniture design that masterfully translates the ancient Japanese art of origami into a contemporary seating solution, created by designer Manish Maheshwari. This ergonomic accent chair draws inspiration from the natural forms of ruffled palm leaves and Japanese paper fans, incorporating these organic elements into its distinctive folded metal structure. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2021, showcases a remarkable fusion of artistic expression and functional engineering. The chair's form is characterized by its bold use of sunflower-inspired colors and minimal design flares, making it both a practical seating solution and a striking artistic statement. Its innovative construction employs galvanized metal that, despite its durability, maintains a visual lightness reminiscent of paper.
