Onece Time Stage Sanitaryware Showroom
Onece Time Stage Sanitaryware Showroom is an innovative interior exhibition space design that revolutionizes the traditional concept of sanitaryware display through its philosophical approach to time and space. Created by Tiku + Design, this 180-square-meter showroom embodies the Japanese aesthetic principles of Wabi and Sabi, emphasizing natural simplicity and the beauty of temporal progression. The design conceptualizes the space as a sophisticated backdrop that enhances the inherent beauty of the displayed products, utilizing a minimalist color palette of black, white, and gray to create a contemplative atmosphere. The showroom's distinctive feature lies in its carefully crafted time axis, which connects different display zones while highlighting the evolutionary journey of sanitaryware design. Through the thoughtful application of materials such as rocks and Semco (Polished bond), the space achieves a delicate balance between modernist simplicity and temporal depth. The design incorporates an innovative 8.722-degree axis that symbolically connects Italy and Taiwan, creating a cultural dialogue within the space. Completed in March 2018 in Taipei, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional spatial organization through five distinct areas, each carefully calibrated to optimize visitor engagement and product presentation. The showroom's success lies in its ability to transcend conventional exhibition design by creating an environment where each product can naturally command attention while maintaining a harmonious relationship with its surroundings.
