OK`VIN Limited Vintage Brandy

OK`VIN Limited Vintage Brandy

OK`VIN Limited vintage brandy is an exemplary packaging design project that demonstrates a sophisticated fusion of traditional French cognac aesthetics with contemporary design elements. Created by designer Valerii Sumilov, this premium beverage packaging showcases meticulous attention to detail through its implementation of advanced printing and post-printing techniques, including foil stamping, embossing, and tactile varnish applications. The design, measuring 106 mm in length and 90 mm in width, features a carefully curated color palette and prominent brand logo placement that emphasizes the product's heritage and inception year. The packaging's visual language establishes a spiritual connection with classic French cognacs while maintaining its unique identity in the premium spirits category. The design solution effectively addresses the challenge of appealing to discerning consumers who value status and refinement in their beverage choices, utilizing high-quality artistic paper as its base material to enhance the tactile experience. This sophisticated approach to packaging design earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging its excellence in combining traditional elements with modern design sensibilities. The project, completed in 2014 and launched in the Russian market in early 2015, demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship in creating a visual identity that not only stands out on retail shelves but also communicates the product's premium positioning through its thoughtful integration of noble color schemes and gold foil stamp elements.
