Ode To Everything Residence

Ode To Everything Residence

Ode to Everything Residence is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements within contemporary living spaces. Located on an upper floor with panoramic views of North Dawu Mountain in Taiwan, this 99-square-meter residence masterfully incorporates curved forms in both ceiling and flooring designs to create a fluid, organic atmosphere. The design philosophy draws inspiration from the spiritual connection between all earthly creatures, manifesting this concept through thoughtful material selection and spatial arrangement. The interior features a sophisticated combination of marble, solid wood, quartz tile, and iron, creating distinct textures that work in concert to produce an elegant living environment. The space is characterized by its innovative use of curved walls and strategic light manipulation, which creates dynamic spatial interactions through flowing, overlapping, and extending tender light patterns. The public areas are defined by iron lines and varied tile textures, while a multi-patterned carpet anchors the living room. The design incorporates feng shui principles through sandblasted glass hexagrams, and the kitchen area employs a low wall partition that maintains visual continuity while preserving spatial distinction. The project, completed in June 2022 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category for its exceptional approach to residential design, demonstrating excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and aesthetic innovation.
