Nuraghe
Nuraghe is a type of ancient megalithic structure found throughout the Mediterranean region. These structures are typically constructed from large blocks of basalt stone, and often feature a conical tower or a central courtyard. The Nuraghe is believed to have been used for a variety of purposes, including fortifications, religious and communal gatherings, and storage. They are often found in strategic locations, such as mountain passes and coastal areas, and their presence indicates a well-developed system of engineering and architecture. The Nuraghe dates back to the Bronze Age and is still seen today in many parts of the Mediterranean.

Nuraghe
Masonry architecture has been a part of human history since the dawn of civilization. Nuraghe, which is a type of structure found throughout the Mediterranean region, is one of the most prominent examples of this type of construction. A Nuraghe is a large, freestanding, circular tower built from stone, typically with a conical shape and very thick walls. The structures were once believed to be defensive fortifications, however archaeological evidence suggests that they were primarily used as dwellings, religious sites, or meeting places for local populations. Furthermore, many Nuraghe were found to have internal staircases, suggesting that they may have had multiple uses. As an architectural form, the Nuraghe has been studied extensively and is still being used today as a way to understand the cultures and societies of the past.
