Nudus Snack Food is an innovative packaging design concept that revolutionizes the presentation of natural fruit and vegetable chips through its distinctive bare-naked philosophy and sophisticated visual approach. Created by Creative Director Angela Spindler and launched in 2019, this design employs a bold black background that dramatically showcases the product's natural vibrancy and transformation from fresh to dried state. The packaging design, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, features a unique photographic composition inspired by classical still life paintings, depicting both fresh and air-dried produce slices to illustrate the product's pure, additive-free nature. The technical execution involves CMYK printing with two spot colors, enhanced by selective UV gloss finishing on the brand mark and imagery, while maintaining a matt finish on remaining surfaces. Measuring 12.5cm in width and 17cm in height, the packaging effectively communicates the product's commitment to simplicity and natural preservation through its minimalist yet impactful design language. The strategic use of high-contrast photography against the unconventional black background creates exceptional shelf presence, while simultaneously educating consumers about the air-drying process through the visual narrative of stacked slices progressing from fresh to dried states. This design approach represents a significant departure from traditional healthy snack packaging conventions, establishing a new paradigm in the visualization of natural food products.
