Non-medicated Antiperspirants
Non-medicated antiperspirants are personal care products designed to reduce the amount of sweat produced by the body. Unlike medicated antiperspirants that contain aluminum chloride or other active ingredients to block sweat glands, non-medicated antiperspirants use alternative ingredients to achieve the same effect. Typically, non-medicated antiperspirants contain aluminum-based compounds that form a gel-like plug on the surface of the skin, which reduces the amount of sweat that is released from the sweat glands. Non-medicated antiperspirants are available in various forms, including roll-ons, sprays, and sticks. They are usually applied to the underarms, but can also be used on other parts of the body that tend to sweat, such as the feet and hands. Non-medicated antiperspirants are generally considered safe for use by most people, although some individuals may experience skin irritation or allergic reactions to certain ingredients. Non-medicated antiperspirants are often used by individuals who prefer a more natural approach to personal care, or who have concerns about the potential health risks associated with long-term use of medicated antiperspirants. While non-medicated antiperspirants may not be as effective as their medicated counterparts, they can still provide significant relief from excessive sweating for many people.
