Nissan Calendar 2015 Calendar is an innovative visual communication project that masterfully combines the rigid aesthetics of automotive design with the whimsical nature of balloon artistry, creating a unique calendar design that earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category. This groundbreaking calendar project, developed by EGC CG creative under the direction of Yasuyuki Nagato, features fourteen distinct visual compositions where handcrafted balloon artworks interpret and reimagine vehicular forms, establishing an unprecedented artistic dialogue between hard and soft materials. The calendar, measuring 345mm x 480mm when opened, presents a sophisticated dual-layout design with the artistic interpretation displayed on the top portion and the calendar grid positioned below. Each monthly spread showcases meticulously crafted balloon sculptures comprising thousands of individually placed balloons in various colors, requiring precise timing during photography sessions due to the temporal nature of the medium.
