Nimet Basar Kesdi
Nimet Basar Kesdi is a talented and accomplished industrial designer, who has been in the design field for over a decade. After graduating from Anadolu University's Industrial Design program in 2010, he started his career in Designnobis, where he played an active role in conceptualizing some of their most highly-lauded product designs. He then joined Yağmur Mobilya, one of the largest furniture manufacturers in Turkey, where he designed furniture for their 2014 collection. Afterwards, he moved to Istanbul, where he worked with Diagonal in a multidisciplinary team. He later returned to Ankara to continue his studies in the furniture industry, and also earned experience working as a full-time designer and project specialist at Artedecor. Currently, he serves as a part-time instructor in the Industrial Design department while also completing his master’s thesis on the furniture industry in Turkey. Throughout his career, Nimet Basar Kesdi has demonstrated tremendous skills and creativity in design. His dedication to the craft has earned him significant recognition and acclaim, including prestigious awards in the social design and lighting product categories.
