Night Sky Corporate Headquarter
Night Sky Corporate Headquarter is an innovative interior architectural project completed in Chongqing, China, that reimagines corporate office design through its distinctive aesthetic approach and spatial philosophy. The 400-square-meter space is characterized by its striking golden ceiling installations and fish-shaped structural elements, which transform a conventional structural column into a central design feature. The project, completed in January 2019, demonstrates a sophisticated integration of contemporary office culture with symbolic architectural elements, creating a unique workplace environment that challenges traditional corporate design paradigms. The space's most notable feature is its elaborate ceiling treatment in the negotiation area, where ancient golden iron sheets, finished with fluorocarbon paint, create varying patterns of thickness and orientation, complemented by strategic strip lighting that generates dynamic light and shadow interplay. This artistic treatment stands in deliberate contrast to the bright black floor tiles, establishing a powerful visual dialogue. The design incorporates a golden time passage that connects the hall to the negotiation area, featuring technology-inspired curved elements that enhance the space's ceremonial atmosphere while maintaining focus on the spatial experience. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, exemplifies how thoughtful architectural intervention can transform structural constraints into aesthetic advantages, creating an environment that encourages imagination and authentic engagement with the space.
