New Vision School is an innovative educational facility and interior design project that exemplifies contemporary approaches to learning environments through its distinctive architectural concept centered around the metaphor of a corridor. Completed in 2020 in Jinan, China, this 3,600-square-meter space represents a progressive vision for educational institutions, designed by Baodong Wang to create an environment that nurtures creativity and learning through thoughtful spatial organization. The design philosophy emphasizes the creation of dynamic circulation paths that reveal themselves gradually to visitors, employing a sophisticated interplay of space and movement that prevents immediate visual comprehension of the entire facility. The interior architecture incorporates strategic nodal points featuring color modules that symbolize divergent thinking, reflecting the institution's commitment to digital creativity and innovation. Notable design elements include the implementation of gray mirrors on ceiling surfaces to create an enhanced sense of spatial depth, while the careful integration of artistic installations and wooden elements introduces warmth and visual interest throughout the space. The project's material palette combines color paint, floor paint, glass brick, mirrors, and sculptural elements to achieve its aesthetic and functional objectives.
