New Design for DSK Bank Flagship Branch is an innovative interior design project that revolutionizes traditional banking space concepts through its futuristic aesthetic and functional approach. Located within one of Sofia's largest commercial centers, this 275-square-meter flagship branch exemplifies contemporary architectural design through its striking use of white and green color schemes, pure geometric forms, and polygonal shapes. The design, which earned the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a significant departure from conventional banking environment aesthetics. The space is characterized by its distinctive architectural elements, including MDF louvers on side walls, fabric-covered triangular units, and inox-covered MDF polygonal furniture, all contributing to a cohesive modern aesthetic. The layout innovatively repositions functional units from the central space to the periphery, creating an expansive open area that enhances customer interaction and flow. This architectural strategy is complemented by dynamic green elements intersecting white vertical louvers along the surrounding walls, effectively integrating aesthetics with functionality. The design incorporates technological integration through dedicated spaces for digital banking services, with comfortable lounge niches embedded within a green strip providing areas for customers to access digital information. Realized between October 2016 and February 2017, this project demonstrates excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative design thinking, setting new standards for contemporary banking environments while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and operational efficiency.
