Net Zero Building
Net Zero Building is a type of structure designed so that the amount of energy it uses each year is equal to the amount of renewable energy it produces on site. In environmental design, a new approach is to use building materials that store carbon, like special types of wood or recycled materials, which help lower the building's total carbon footprint. Designers now focus on how the building works with its local climate, using things like natural ventilation and daylight to use less energy. Some Net Zero Buildings use smart sensors to track energy use in real time, which helps people inside make better choices about lighting and heating. These buildings often include green roofs or walls, which help clean the air and keep the building cooler.
