Nemo Alignment Base Of Table
Nemo Alignment base of table is an innovative furniture design piece that exemplifies minimalist elegance and functional sophistication, created by Italian designer Roberto Semprini. This remarkable table base, which won the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2017, features a distinctive design inspired by the fluid shapes of marine life, particularly the graceful movements of fish. The base is crafted from die-cast aluminum and features a square column with rounded corners in a matt painted finish, complemented by four adjustable feet for optimal stability. With dimensions of 510mm in width and depth, and a height of 730mm, the design achieves a remarkable visual lightness despite its robust construction, weighing 4.75 kg. The base's most notable feature lies in its innovative folding mechanism and alignment system, which incorporates a practical handle for effortless arrangement of multiple tables, making it particularly suitable for contract furniture applications in both indoor and outdoor settings. The design's sophisticated functionality is enhanced by its completely smooth surface devoid of sharp edges, creating an illusion of floating in space. This characteristic, combined with its versatility in accommodating both round and square tops, represents a significant advancement in table base design. The project, developed between January and September 2016, demonstrates exceptional attention to practicality and compactness while maintaining high aesthetic standards, making it an exemplary solution for contemporary commercial and residential spaces where style must coexist with functionality.
