Nature Meishan Commercial Space
Nature Meishan Commercial Space is a thoughtfully renovated 433-square-meter commercial interior space that exemplifies the harmonious integration of modern design with natural surroundings. Originally a 40-year-old residential structure, this architectural transformation project demonstrates exceptional spatial innovation through its careful preservation of the existing structure while introducing contemporary elements. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, features a strategic relocation of the central staircase that creates a more intuitive flow throughout the building. The interior architecture incorporates extensive use of concrete finishes juxtaposed with warm wooden elements, creating a sophisticated balance between industrial and natural aesthetics. Notable design elements include outward-extended French windows that maximize natural light penetration and strengthen the visual connection to the surrounding landscape. The space encompasses a lobby, kitchen, island area, and five double suites, all thoughtfully arranged to optimize spatial efficiency and user experience. The renovation project showcases innovative material applications, including aluminum doors and windows, hardened concrete topping, and wear-resistant wooden flooring, all carefully selected to maintain durability while enhancing the aesthetic appeal. The lowered windowsills and strategic placement of wood-grained textures and furniture create an atmosphere that serves as a modern sanctuary, where contemporary design meets natural serenity.
