Nanshan Courtyard House Villa
Nanshan Courtyard House Villa is an exemplary architectural masterpiece spanning 820 square meters that harmoniously blends modern design principles with traditional Chinese garden aesthetics. Located in Chongqing, China, and completed in 2020, this five-story residential villa demonstrates sophisticated spatial planning and innovative structural solutions. The design employs a refined color palette of beige as the primary tone, complemented by premium gray finishes, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance. A notable architectural intervention involves the integration of the terrace into a duplex living room through the addition of structural columns, while three expansive French windows establish a seamless connection with the exterior environment. The interior features a striking two-story dark built-in bookshelf that adds architectural gravitas to the space, balanced against a jade wall feature. The living room showcases an innovative lighting installation comprising a floating dragon design constructed with dark copper metal framework and transparent elements, incorporating intelligent systems and rimless lighting fixtures that emphasize environmental consciousness. The underground level houses leisure facilities and a multifunctional banquet and exhibition hall, while the second floor accommodates private spaces designed for intimate gatherings. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category exemplifies excellence in modern residential architecture through its thoughtful space utilization, sophisticated material selection, and harmonious integration of traditional and contemporary design elements.
