My Viet Specialty Coffee Coffee Packaging

My Viet Specialty Coffee Coffee Packaging

My Viet Specialty Coffee Coffee Packaging is an innovative packaging design that exemplifies the cultural richness and coffee heritage of Vietnam's Buon Ma Thuot region, distinguished by its thoughtful integration of traditional elements with contemporary design aesthetics. The packaging features a meticulously crafted illustration of an Ede ethnic minority woman in traditional costume harvesting coffee, symbolizing the authentic connection between the local culture and coffee production. Created with precise dimensions of 150mm width, 100mm depth, and 250mm height, the design employs premium Art Board paper enhanced with strategic golden foil applications on the brand name, product name, and illustrative elements. The design's cultural authenticity is achieved through extensive research into the distinctive patterns and costumes of the Ede people, one of Vietnam's fifty-plus ethnic groups, ensuring accurate representation of their unique cultural identity. The packaging's visual narrative successfully combines traditional Vietnamese coffee culture with modern design sensibilities, featuring a harmonious composition of the harvester figure alongside stylized coffee tree patterns. This design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its representation of Vietnam's coffee heritage while maintaining contemporary appeal. The packaging's sophisticated execution serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, protecting the product while effectively communicating its premium quality and cultural significance through its visual storytelling approach.
