Mr. Pizza Pizza And Restaurant
Mr. Pizza Pizza and Restaurant is an innovative interior design project that reimagines the traditional dining experience through a whimsical, upside-down wonderland concept, realized within a 1000-square-meter space in a high-density shopping center location. Designed by Alex Kovachev and Anna Nikolova, this remarkable establishment transforms conventional restaurant design by incorporating suspended gardens and dramatic floral installations that cascade from a four-meter-high ceiling, creating an immersive dining environment that challenges spatial perception. The design's centerpiece features vivid red flowers draped from custom-engineered stainless steel frames, complemented by a strategically positioned show kitchen in the main dining area. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, recognized in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies a sophisticated blend of technical innovation and artistic vision. The space merges three previous properties to create an open-flow layout, while the ceiling serves as a structural foundation for the elaborate hanging vegetation system, supported by specially designed metal constructions and steel cables. The interior's aesthetic draws inspiration from the concept of Dolce Vita and modern fairy tales, featuring poetic lighting that emphasizes the mystical atmosphere and creates an enchanting dining experience. The design successfully addresses the challenges of its commercial setting while delivering a unique interpretation of bringing nature indoors through an inverted perspective, completed in January 2017 and continuing to operate as a distinctive dining destination that combines theatrical elements with functional restaurant design.
