MP Office Interior Design Project

MP Office Interior Design Project is an exemplary interior design endeavor that showcases a harmonious blend of sustainable materials and contemporary aesthetics, created by Indonesian designer Carolina Arsad. This 320-square-meter family office space demonstrates a sophisticated integration of local Indonesian wood, brass accents, and terrazzo elements, embodying both cultural heritage and modern functionality. The design philosophy centers on creating an enduring workspace that balances warmth with minimalist organization, achieved through thoughtful material selection and spatial planning. The project's distinctive approach to combining traditional materials with contemporary design principles creates a unique working environment that promotes both productivity and aesthetic appreciation. The entrance area features a particularly noteworthy implementation of Indonesian wood combined with brass and terrazzo details, establishing a lasting impression while maintaining functional efficiency. This design, which was completed over a six-month period in Jakarta, Indonesia, represents a significant achievement in sustainable commercial interior design, earning recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The project exemplifies how careful material selection and attention to spatial dynamics can create an atmosphere that supports both professional functionality and artistic sensibility, while maintaining a commitment to sustainable design practices and cultural relevance.
