This sophisticated two-seater draws its inspiration from the Nowrag, an ancient Egyptian threshing sledge, transforming this historical agricultural implement into a luxurious contemporary seating solution. Crafted from solid white beech wood and finished with a high-gloss black lacquer, the piece features intricate hand-crafted Egyptian engravings on both arms and legs, complemented by rich velvet upholstery and decorative galvanized iron bolts and pull rings that enhance its medieval throne-like appearance. The design incorporates innovative functionality through built-in ottomans concealed in drawer-like compartments, equipped with soft-close runners and Tip-on mechanisms for seamless operation. Measuring 1580mm in length, 780mm in width, and featuring a seating height of 500mm with a back height of 1000mm, the piece demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its construction, requiring multiple layers of polyurethane coating and meticulous hand-finishing techniques.
