Mossaic Atrium

Mossaic Atrium is an innovative interior architectural design that exemplifies the harmonious integration of biophilic elements with functional workspace requirements, distinguished by its sophisticated approach to acoustic optimization and multifunctional spatial organization. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project encompasses a ground floor area of 169 square meters and a 23-square-meter balcony, featuring walls that reach 7.55 meters in height, culminating in a 9.40-meter peak roof. The design's primary innovation lies in its comprehensive solution to acoustic challenges through the strategic fractalization of surfaces, incorporating sound-absorbing materials such as carpeting, elevated floor sections, slatted panels, preserved moss installations, and a distinctive water wall feature. The space is artfully segmented into distinct functional zones, including a welcoming reception area, product presentation space with showcases and raised flooring, adaptable workstations, and a thoughtfully designed lounge and conference area. The interior's aesthetic is enhanced by an algorithmic arrangement of 200 suspended lights, which not only provides illumination but also contributes to the space's acoustic performance. The design's materiality focuses on natural elements, featuring wood-slatted panels interspersed with preserved moss surfaces, creating an indoor park atmosphere that promotes well-being and productivity. The project, completed in December 2023, represents a significant achievement in corporate interior design, demonstrating how thoughtful spatial planning and material selection can transform a challenging acoustic environment into a versatile, welcoming space that supports various professional activities while maintaining a strong connection to nature.
