Moschino

Moschino is an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1983 by Franco Moschino. Known for its irreverent, playful, and often provocative designs, Moschino has become a prominent name in the fashion industry. Franco Moschino's design philosophy was rooted in satire and social commentary, often poking fun at the fashion establishment while still creating high-quality, visually striking garments. He drew inspiration from pop culture, art, and everyday objects, incorporating them into his designs in unexpected ways. Moschino's collections often featured bold colors, graphic prints, and unconventional materials, blurring the lines between high fashion and popular culture. After Franco Moschino's untimely death in 1994, his former assistant and creative director, Rossella Jardini, took over the brand's creative direction until 2013. Under Jardini's leadership, Moschino continued to embrace its founder's irreverent spirit while expanding into new product categories and collaborations. In 2013, Jeremy Scott was appointed as the brand's creative director, bringing his own brand of pop culture-infused, maximalist designs to the label. Today, Moschino remains a influential force in the fashion world, known for its daring, humorous, and often subversive approach to luxury fashion.
