Morph Washbasin

Morph Washbasin

Morph Washbasin is an innovative bathroom fixture that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of natural forms with contemporary urban design aesthetics. Created by Serbian designer Dimitrije Davidovic, this sophisticated sanitary ware piece draws inspiration from the organic shape of a lotus flower when touched by water droplets, resulting in an asymmetrical form that challenges traditional bathroom fixture conventions. The washbasin, crafted from polyester resin enhanced with specialized additives, demonstrates exceptional durability with its chemical and scratch-resistant properties, offering a superior alternative to conventional ceramic fixtures. Measuring 722mm in width, 395mm in depth, and 208mm in height, the design features uniquely corrugated edges and an amorphous form that emerges from extensive research into innovative bathroom solutions. The manufacturing process involves CNC modeling followed by a sophisticated molding technique, ensuring each piece maintains its distinctive character while incorporating functional elements such as an integrated water droplet blocker when properly positioned. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning creation in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware category represents a significant advancement in bathroom fixture design, successfully bringing elements of natural beauty into urban living spaces while maintaining practical functionality and durability. The washbasin's thoughtful ergonomic design includes a strategic water management system that prevents splashing onto users' clothing, while its smooth surface facilitates easy cleaning and maintenance.
