Mori Green Memory Commercial Space
Mori Green Memory Commercial Space is an innovative commercial interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of European architectural elegance with Art Deco aesthetics, completed in 2019 in Taipei City, Taiwan. This sophisticated 231-square-meter establishment represents a significant departure from traditional Japanese yakiniku restaurant design, incorporating luxurious elements such as white walls, orange doors, and blue-white shades to create an atmosphere reminiscent of European street culture. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases meticulous attention to detail through its integration of metal HPL, hollow board, titanium plate gold, marble, and hexagonal floor tiles. The space planning encompasses multiple functional areas including a reception, dining area, VIP section, bar, kitchen, and waiting area, all unified through smooth circulation patterns and strategic seating distribution. The interior's distinctive character emerges from its dark color palette, enhanced by metal decorations and LED light bars that create a refined, vintage atmosphere. Designer Feng Ya Wu's vision successfully addresses contemporary commercial challenges while maintaining aesthetic excellence, demonstrated through the careful consideration of geometric shapes, fine craftsmanship, and the sophisticated interplay of classical and modern design elements. The project's exterior seamlessly integrates with the local streetscape, while its interior transformation challenges conventional restaurant design paradigms, establishing a new standard for commercial space innovation in highly competitive business districts.
