Moli Landscape Restaurant
Moli Landscape Restaurant is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in December 2020 in Shenyang, China, that masterfully integrates natural elements with contemporary commercial dining spaces. The establishment's distinctive design philosophy draws inspiration from traditional Oriental landscape aesthetics, featuring a sophisticated high skip-floor layout and floor-to-ceiling lighting system that facilitates natural airflow and sunlight penetration throughout the 537-square-meter space. The restaurant's architectural composition is characterized by its dramatic cantilever roof design that follows the natural topography, creating an immersive dining experience that simulates the sensation of being nestled within a mountain setting. The main façade incorporates an open cave concept, while a meandering stream weaves through the space, creating an interplay of light and shadow that evokes traditional Chinese literary aesthetics. The interior employs premium materials including stainless steel, art paint, silver finishes, and luxury stones to achieve its sophisticated ambiance. The spatial arrangement guides guests through a carefully choreographed journey, beginning at the open façade and continuing upward via a gradual ascent that reveals varying perspectives of the space. This Gold A' Design Award-winning project exemplifies the successful fusion of commercial viability with spiritual and natural elements, demonstrating how contemporary design techniques can be utilized to create meaningful connections between urban dining spaces and natural landscapes.
