Moi Nivak Brand Identity is a sophisticated visual communication system designed for a contemporary collectibles and design items retail platform, crafted by designer Yuk Pui Cheung in Taipei between June and September 2021. The comprehensive brand framework encompasses strategic positioning, naming, stationery design, and digital presence, embodying a minimalist yet purposeful aesthetic approach. At its core, the identity system is anchored by a distinctive typographic foundation utilizing Sunset Gothic, a bespoke typeface developed by Colophon Foundry's Benjamin Critton, which masterfully blends various sans-serif painting styles to create a unique visual language. The design's technical execution includes meticulously specified business cards (85mm x 55mm) featuring PMS color digital printing and custom packaging boxes (320mm x 255mm x 140mm) with single-color offset printing on corrugated material. The brand identity successfully communicates the curator's role in selecting contemporary collectibles and design items while maintaining a neutral business stance that appeals to arts and cultural collectible enthusiasts. This work received recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category in 2022, acknowledging its excellence in visual impact, strategic approach, and effective communication.
