Modern Zen Hysun Sales Center Sales Center & Exhibition is an award-winning architectural interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of neo-orientalism and contemporary design aesthetics, completed in Shanghai in 2013. This 850-square-meter space masterfully integrates traditional Zen philosophy with modern architectural elements, creating a sophisticated environment that transcends conventional sales center design. The project's distinctive approach features a carefully orchestrated interplay of materials, including dark brown linen wall curtains, custom marble lamps, and titanium-plated stainless steel bamboo lighting fixtures, all working in concert to achieve a balance between traditional Eastern wisdom and contemporary luxury. The design philosophy centers on the concept of harmony between humans and nature, expressed through thoughtfully curated elements such as modern artwork themed around trees, waterscapes, and calligraphic installations that serve as shadow-less lighting features. The space employs a four-season color scheme throughout its various zones, with particular attention paid to the creation of ceremonious entrances that pay homage to scholarly respect for nature. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, demonstrates exceptional innovation in its use of modern materials while maintaining traditional aesthetic values. The design successfully creates distinct atmospheric zones that flow seamlessly from one to another, utilizing soft, indirect lighting and symmetrical layouts to establish a sense of tranquility and spiritual elevation, while simultaneously serving its commercial purpose as a sales center.
