Modern Luxury Apartment Residence
Modern Luxury Apartment Residence is an exemplary interior design project that embodies contemporary residential luxury within an 83-square-meter space in Taipei, Taiwan, demonstrating sophisticated spatial planning and refined material selection. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project, conceived by designer Kenny Wu, masterfully balances functionality with aesthetic excellence through its thoughtful integration of marble, leather, mirror elements, and timber flooring. The design successfully addresses the challenge of creating three bedrooms and a children's playroom while maintaining an open, spacious atmosphere within a limited area. The residence's distinctive features include an innovative entrance corridor that serves as a spatial buffer, incorporating seamlessly integrated storage solutions and creating a sharp visual experience. The interior's design philosophy emphasizes transparency and visual depth through the strategic use of mirror elements, which effectively borrow light and views while harmonizing with other premium materials. The space is characterized by its pure and elegant white color scheme, enhanced by carefully considered lighting that creates a warm ambiance. Notable design elements include arc-shaped mirror screens, mosaic flooring, and a half-height TV wall that preserves the panoramic mountain views through full-height windows. The project, completed in March 2017, exemplifies modern luxury living through its meticulous attention to detail, refined craftsmanship, and successful integration of contrasting materials, all while maintaining practical functionality and addressing privacy concerns through elegant solutions such as designer privacy drapes.
