Modern Blues Residential Interior Design

Modern Blues Residential Interior Design

Modern Blues Residential Interior Design is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of contemporary aesthetics with practical living solutions, executed within an 86-square-meter renovated dwelling in New Taipei City, Taiwan. This thoughtfully conceived design transformation, created by I-Hao Chang, demonstrates exceptional space optimization through its strategic layout reorganization, connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen to create an enhanced sense of openness and visual continuity. The design's distinctive features include an eye-catching blue TV wall that serves as a sophisticated room divider, concealing access to the master bedroom and guest bathroom while establishing the space's primary chromatic theme. The project showcases remarkable attention to detail in its lighting solutions, incorporating black track lighting systems that replace traditional fixtures, complemented by a striking black cast iron ceiling detail that provides visual rhythm throughout the public spaces. The interior's material palette combines leather and hardwood elements to achieve a balanced, distinguished aesthetic, while innovative storage solutions, including a walk-in closet with transparent sliding doors and tiered shelving, maximize space utility without compromising visual appeal. The kitchen design features an L-shaped counter with suspended cabinets in coordinating blue tones, enhanced by a thoughtfully integrated bar counter that extends into the dining area. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional consideration for future adaptability, particularly in accommodating the needs of a growing family, while maintaining a sophisticated modern aesthetic through its careful material selection and color coordination.
