Micro-computer
A micro-computer is a type of computer that is designed for personal or small-scale use. It is also commonly known as a personal computer or PC. Micro-computers are built using microprocessors, which are small, integrated circuits that contain the central processing unit (CPU) of the computer. These computers are typically used for general-purpose computing tasks such as word processing, internet browsing, and multimedia playback. Micro-computers are designed to be affordable and accessible to the general public. They are smaller and less powerful than larger computers such as mainframes and supercomputers, but they are still capable of performing a wide range of tasks. Micro-computers are also highly customizable, allowing users to add or remove components as needed. The history of micro-computers dates back to the 1970s, when the first personal computers were introduced. These early computers were expensive and limited in functionality, but they paved the way for the development of more advanced micro-computers in the decades that followed. Today, micro-computers are ubiquitous and can be found in homes, schools, and businesses around the world.
