Merriest Christmas Greetings Card

Merriest Christmas Greetings Card

Merriest Christmas Greetings Card is an innovative and interactive festive design project that reimagines the traditional Christmas card concept through a thoughtfully curated box set, created by designer Benny Leung in Hong Kong. This sophisticated communication design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, combines multiple elements to create an engaging narrative about the spirit of giving during the holiday season. The design measures 204mm in width, 139mm in depth, and 15mm in height, featuring a carefully constructed box that houses both a greeting card and a set of three custom-designed soft enamel pins inspired by Santa Claus. The production incorporates high-quality offset printing enhanced with gold foil accents in strategic areas, while the interior utilizes cleverly positioned cardboard strips to create a layered presentation. The design's unique approach focuses on fostering meaningful connections and spreading the joy of Christmas in Hong Kong through its interactive elements and charitable component. Each card represents a donation made on behalf of the recipient to support children and young mothers, transforming the traditional greeting card into a vehicle for social impact. The locally relevant pin designs serve as conversation starters, encouraging recipients to share the Christmas story and the message of giving with others, creating a ripple effect of positive engagement throughout the community. This thoughtfully executed project demonstrates excellence in combining aesthetic appeal with social purpose, showcasing how design can effectively bridge cultural understanding and promote charitable giving during the holiday season.
