Meo Folded Cat Box
Meo Folded Cat Box is an innovative pet care solution designed specifically for mother cats and their kittens, exemplifying thoughtful integration of functionality and user experience in animal product design. This foldable enclosure, developed by Daodun Studio, represents a significant advancement in temporary pet housing solutions, incorporating origami-inspired folding mechanisms that allow for efficient storage when not in use. The design features a sophisticated construction utilizing felt material for the exterior and soft, protective materials for the interior, creating a safe and comfortable environment for feline mothers and their offspring. The box's dimensions of 450mm width, 500mm depth, and 250mm height are carefully calculated to provide optimal space for nursing cats while maintaining practical storage capabilities. A particularly noteworthy feature is the integrated urinal pad system, which includes numbered pads that serve both as absorbent surfaces and educational tools, displaying important information about kitten development milestones and care instructions. This innovative approach to pet care earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing pet care product design through its combination of practical functionality and user-centered features. The design successfully addresses common challenges in temporary pet housing, such as hygiene maintenance and space efficiency, while incorporating educational elements that enhance the owner's involvement in the kitten-rearing process.
