Meland Kids Club is an innovative parent-child indoor playground that exemplifies excellence in interior space design through its sophisticated integration of urban-inspired elements and interactive experiences. Completed in June 2019 with a floor area of 3100 square meters, this architectural masterpiece reimagines traditional entertainment facilities by creating an immersive cityscape that facilitates meaningful parent-child interactions. The design's conceptual framework draws inspiration from urban planning, featuring distinct functional areas interconnected through subtle line designs that ensure optimal visitor flow while maintaining narrative coherence. Notable design elements include car-shaped shoe cabinets arranged in dynamic sequences and distinctive chimney-like columns adorned with transparent pale pink bubbles that house children's play areas while enabling parental supervision. The space incorporates various themed zones, including a dramatically styled ball pool reminiscent of an urban jungle, featuring rich stage colors that evoke the mystique of fairy tales, and architectural elements inspired by the Potala Palace that enhance the space's flowing aesthetic. The project, which won the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, demonstrates exceptional innovation in spatial planning and experiential design. Designer Li Xiang's vision transcends conventional playground design by creating a multifaceted environment that serves as both a functional recreation space and a symbolic reminder of the importance of quality time between parents and children, notably represented through the recurring motif of clocks throughout the space.
