The identity system, crafted in 2022, centers on an innovative interpretation of the letter 'M' through architectural symbolism, incorporating the distinctive silhouette of traditional ceramic factory chimneys - a testament to the region's 200-year legacy in ceramics and sculpture. The design's conceptual framework cleverly integrates progressive architectural elements, where the refined structure of overlapping geometric forms symbolizes both the gathering of creative talents and the project's aspirational trajectory. This comprehensive identity system, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, encompasses various applications including business cards (90mm×54mm), promotional cloth bags (380mm×320mm), and posters (800mm×800mm). The design's significance lies in its ability to represent a multifaceted cultural space spanning two square kilometers, housing various cultural institutions including a ceramic industry heritage museum, art gallery, and international studios. Through meticulous research and on-site exploration, the designer Chen Zilong successfully preserved and reinterpreted historical elements within a modern context, creating a visual language that communicates the space's role as an international cultural and creative industry cluster while paying homage to Foshan's rich cultural heritage.
