Meet The Future - Library Of Oxygen Sales Office

Meet the Future - Library of Oxygen Sales Office is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in 2018 in Wulanchabu, Xinghe County, Inner Mongolia, that masterfully integrates natural elements with contemporary design principles to create a breathtaking commercial space. The project, which earned the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a harmonious fusion of traditional cultural elements and modern architectural innovation. Drawing inspiration from organic forms found in nature, the design incorporates varying light transmittance materials and transformed curves to create a breathing building that responds to and channels natural light. The interior space seamlessly blends with the surrounding landscape through thoughtful architectural elements, creating a continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor environments. A distinctive feature of the design is its interpretation of the traditional yurt concept, reimagined through contemporary circular and curved forms that pay homage to local cultural heritage. The space transcends its primary function as a sales office by doubling as an art gallery, featuring carefully curated contemporary artwork that enhances the space's vitality. The design philosophy emphasizes reconnecting urban dwellers with nature through architectural elements that capture the essence of the surrounding environment, including the sky, clouds, and vast landscapes characteristic of Inner Mongolia. This innovative approach to commercial space design demonstrates exceptional attention to spatial planning, material selection, and cultural sensitivity, while maintaining a strong focus on functionality and aesthetic appeal.
