Master Suite Country House is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of sustainable materials with country-style aesthetics, created by architect Cibelle Costa. This 42-square-meter residential space, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a sophisticated approach to contemporary country living through its thoughtful combination of natural elements and sustainable alternatives. The design philosophy centers on creating a sensorial and affective architectural experience, incorporating various shades of gray contrasted with wooden furniture, copper lighting fixtures, and abundant greenery. The space features several distinctive elements, including hand-braided synthetic fiber ceilings, vinyl coverings that simulate natural wood, and an ecological deck made from recycled PET materials in the bathroom area. The master suite's layout was transformed from three small spaces into an integrated environment through the strategic removal of walls, maintaining only essential partitions for privacy in the bathroom areas. The design incorporates innovative solutions such as a square swing bench suspended by sisal ropes, a fireplace serving as a color therapy element, and custom photographic artwork. The project, completed in 2018, demonstrates exceptional attention to sustainable practices while maintaining the warm, inviting atmosphere characteristic of country house design. The space successfully achieves its objective of fostering a connection with nature through thoughtful material selection, strategic lighting, and careful attention to sensory experiences, including lavender scents and water features that enhance the overall ambiance.
