She began her journey in design when she attended the Superior School of Art and Design (ESAD) at Oporto, where she graduated in Interior Design in 2010. After developing her technical skills and confirming her dedication for design, Maria Pedras went on to integrate the master’s degree in Interior Space Design at the faculty of Engineering and Design ELISAVA at Barcelona. At Design Factory of Oporto, she took part in several interior and product design projects. Her portfolio is a testament to her creativity and dedication to design, exemplified by her award-winning Rise Art installation. Maria Pedras is currently developing her professional practice at Oporto, managing private projects that involve the several areas of design. Her work is highly regarded for its ability to seamlessly blend form and function, creating thoughtfully designed spaces that inspire and delight.
