Love Tea Dining Space

Love Tea Dining Space is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese tea culture with contemporary business functionality, created by designer Jane Ao. This sophisticated commercial space, spanning 220 square meters, features eight meticulously crafted private tea rooms, each measuring no less than 6 square meters, thoughtfully designed to eliminate any sense of spatial constraint. The design's distinctive approach incorporates traditional Chinese landscape painting elements throughout the space, utilizing natural materials such as wooden grilles, crepe fabric, and landscape stones to create seamless transitions between areas. The space employs a sophisticated partitioning system where adjacent rooms are separated by carefully positioned landscape stones, while secondary partitioning is achieved through the strategic placement of crepe fabric and wooden grilles. This innovative design, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully addresses the dual requirements of preserving Chinese tea culture while facilitating modern business interactions. The design's unique features include the use of white fine sand in ground design, translucent fabric partitions that create an immersive landscape experience while maintaining privacy, and a dedicated discussion area enclosed by wooden fences that can accommodate 8-12 people. The project, completed in December 2018 in Shaanxi, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning by incorporating essential facilities such as a kitchen and staff lounge while maintaining the serene atmosphere essential for tea appreciation and business negotiations.
