Lollipop Armchair

Lollipop Armchair

Lollipop Armchair is an innovative seating design that masterfully combines playful aesthetics with functional comfort, drawing inspiration from confectionery forms while maintaining sophisticated appeal. Created by designer Natalia Komarova, this distinctive furniture piece features a unique structural composition where the armrests adopt a characteristic lollipop silhouette, while the seat and backrest echo the forms of classic candies, all without compromising ergonomic principles. The design employs a lightweight yet durable metal frame with powder coating, complemented by carefully selected natural upholstery fabrics that ensure tactile comfort for extended periods of use. With dimensions of 1100mm in width, 800mm in depth, and 1200mm in height, the armchair strikes an optimal balance between spatial presence and practical functionality. The chair's innovative design, which earned it a Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, showcases a dismountable construction that facilitates transportation and logistics while maintaining structural integrity. The backrest is precisely angled to support proper posture, making it versatile for various activities from dining to working and reading. As part of the Yummy Interiors collection, this design successfully translates the joy and vibrancy of confectionery into functional furniture, incorporating ergonomic considerations validated through consultation with healthcare professionals. The chair's distinctive aesthetic appeal is achieved through a thoughtful combination of fashionable colors and unconventional shapes, making it adaptable to diverse interior styles while maintaining its unique character.
