Living With Trees Interior Design

Living with Trees Interior Design is an innovative architectural interior design project completed in March 2016 in Taichung City, Taiwan, that masterfully integrates the concept of arboreal living within a residential sales center. This sophisticated two-floor architectural space, spanning 170 square meters, was conceived and executed by designer Hsin-Hung Wu, embodying a harmonious fusion between natural elements and contemporary living spaces. The design's foundational concept revolves around creating an immersive environment that celebrates the coexistence of human habitation with trees, manifesting through thoughtfully implemented structural and decorative elements. The ground floor features a distinctive tree-body framework that exhibits dynamic vitality, while the interior spaces are characterized by a careful selection of materials including cement tiles and wooden walls that symbolically represent the essence of trees. The design incorporates sophisticated lighting solutions, including cage-style pendant lights and strategically placed candles on log tables, creating an atmosphere that echoes the natural outdoor environment. The second floor's design demonstrates particular innovation in its traffic flow patterns, which are enhanced by the interplay of dusk lighting effects, creating an emotionally resonant narrative space. The project's white wall textures deliberately echo the exterior brick walls, establishing a coherent visual dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces. This design, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in spatial design through its successful integration of natural elements, innovative material usage, and thoughtful consideration of human-nature relationships in contemporary architectural spaces.
