Lines Wall Lighting

Lines Wall Lighting

Lines Wall Lighting is an innovative and minimalist architectural lighting fixture that exemplifies contemporary design principles through its dynamic modular composition. Created by Turkish designer Mehmet Lutfi Hidayetoglu in 2016, this sophisticated wall-mounted luminaire combines industrial materials with artistic expression, featuring a harmonious integration of curves and linear elements. The system employs 10mm plexiglass and stainless steel strips as primary materials, incorporating RGB LED technology for indirect illumination that enhances spatial ambiance. Its distinguishing characteristic lies in its modular design approach, allowing users to create personalized configurations by combining multiple units with varying curve points, thus enabling endless compositional possibilities. The fixture's technical sophistication is evident in its construction method, where stainless steel strips are precisely adhered to heat-molded plexiglass, creating a seamless fusion of materials. Operating on a 12-volt system, the lighting solution features remote-controlled RGB LED strips that can be adjusted to create different atmospheric effects, effectively balancing the industrial aesthetic with sophisticated lighting capabilities. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, addresses contemporary interior lighting needs while promoting user engagement through its customizable nature. Each module can be mounted independently on wall surfaces, with electrical connections arranged in series, demonstrating thoughtful consideration for both installation practicality and aesthetic versatility. The product's commitment to sustainability is reflected in its user-centric approach, as research indicates that customizable furniture and fixtures tend to have longer lifecycles due to increased user attachment and adaptability.
