LiHao Hotel
LiHao Hotel is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in 2019 in the Baoding High-tech Development Zone of China, representing a sophisticated reinterpretation of the urban resort hotel concept. The five-story establishment, encompassing 10,000 square meters and featuring 85 distinct room types, seamlessly integrates traditional Chinese architectural elements with contemporary design sensibilities. Designed by Liang Fang and team, the project earned recognition with a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, highlighting its exceptional approach to hospitality design. The architectural design notably incorporates the sloping roof aesthetics characteristic of traditional northern Chinese courtyard buildings, while maintaining a modern minimalist aesthetic. The interior design philosophy emphasizes a return to nature within an urban context, utilizing a carefully curated material palette including wood veneer, marble, wall coverings, stainless steel, glass, and mirrors to create sophisticated, tranquil spaces. The project demonstrates particular innovation in its holistic approach to environmental integration, combining architecture, landscape, and interior design to create a refined sanctuary for business travelers. Drawing inspiration from local cultural elements, including references to the renowned Song Dynasty porcelain craftsmanship in its decorative elements, the hotel's design successfully balances cultural heritage with contemporary luxury.
