Lighting Temperature
Lighting Temperature is the measure of the color appearance of light, described in Kelvin, and it shapes how a space feels to people inside. In interior atmosphere, using different lighting temperatures can help set the mood and function of a room. For example, lower Kelvin values (warm light) can help people feel relaxed in living rooms, while higher Kelvin values (cool light) can help people focus in workspaces. Designers can use layered lighting with different temperatures in one room to create zones for different activities, like reading or dining. Lighting temperature can even change how colors on walls and furniture look, making them seem richer or more muted.
