Light And Peace Office In Home

Light And Peace Office In Home

Light and Peace Office in Home is an award-winning interior design project that masterfully integrates workspace functionality with residential comfort, exemplifying a sophisticated blend of Minimalist-industrial and Scandinavian design aesthetics. Located in Taoyuan and completed in December 2018, this 149-square-meter renovation project, designed by Hao Zhan, demonstrates an innovative approach to modern hybrid living spaces. The design successfully addresses the dual requirements of professional and personal life by creating distinct yet harmoniously connected zones within the same environment. The office area embraces Minimalist-industrial elements, featuring long tables and cabinets that maximize the linear space, while the living area showcases warm Scandinavian influences through wood grille ceilings and white walls. A notable feature is the company image wall, which draws inspiration from garment-making processes, incorporating fabric dyeing colors and sewing patterns to create a distinctive corporate identity. The kitchen serves as a transitional space, effectively bridging the two contrasting design languages. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional attention to technical challenges, including the restoration of a 15-year-old apartment with solutions for wall mold and water leakage issues. The thoughtful implementation of track lighting and standing lights further enhances the spatial dynamics, creating an environment that promotes both productivity and relaxation.
