Lhov Hob, Hood And Oven

Lhov Hob, Hood and Oven is an innovative kitchen appliance that revolutionizes traditional cooking space utilization by integrating three essential kitchen elements—a hob, hood, and oven—into a single, seamlessly designed unit. This groundbreaking appliance, designed by Fabrizio Crisa, represents a significant advancement in home appliance design, earning recognition with a Platinum A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category. The design features a sophisticated integration of cooking and ventilation functions within a compact 900mm x 565mm x 360mm footprint, incorporating an induction hob with five cooking zones and two lateral suction areas. Its distinctive feature lies in its powerful extraction system that automatically manages vapors and odors from both the cooking surface and oven compartment, while the ergonomically positioned oven offers a wider-than-standard cooking chamber for enhanced cooking efficiency. The interface employs contemporary technology, including an interactive display reminiscent of mobile device interactions, voice assistant capabilities, and smart connectivity through a dedicated application. The design's innovative approach to space optimization maintains clean, uninterrupted kitchen aesthetics while providing additional storage possibilities beneath the unit. This integration of multiple functionalities addresses modern living requirements where kitchen spaces increasingly serve as multifunctional areas for cooking, working, and social gatherings, demonstrating how thoughtful design can enhance both functionality and spatial efficiency in contemporary homes.
