LH Shanghai Office
LH Shanghai Office is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of professional workspace with artistic sensibility, completed in 2020 in Shanghai, China. This 328-square-meter office space represents a revolutionary approach to corporate interior design, breaking away from traditional investment company aesthetics by incorporating elements of both a residential environment and an art gallery. The design, conceived by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen, prioritizes a gentle and quiet atmosphere that promotes relaxation while maintaining professional functionality. The space features a thoughtfully designed central corridor that serves as a connecting chain between various functional areas, with a strategically placed reception area at its heart. The interior's distinctive character is enhanced through carefully curated elements, including artistic photography displays, minimalist lighting fixtures, and cherry blossom-colored PVC woven carpets that pay homage to Japanese clientele. The project successfully overcomes spatial constraints and Feng Shui requirements through innovative space utilization, including the strategic placement of air-conditioning systems above corridors to maximize ceiling height. The design philosophy emphasizes simplicity and elegance, utilizing glass partitions to create openness and hidden light strips for enhanced orientation. This Iron A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional achievement in creating a workspace that challenges conventional corporate design paradigms while maintaining functionality and aesthetic sophistication. The project's success lies in its ability to transform a limited space into an environment that reflects both professional excellence and artistic sensibility, achieved through careful material selection and thoughtful space planning.
