Left Page

The concept of the Left Page within the context of design can be defined as the visual layout of images, text, and any other form of artistry on the left-hand side of a printed piece or within a digital platform. This approach to layout is particularly useful in order to drive the reader's eyes in a certain direction and to prioritize elements of the page in a specific way. It has become a commonplace practice in the design community to utilize the left page in order to allow the reader to focus their eyes on the most important elements of the artwork or text. This is one of the most frequently used approaches in the entire spectrum of design, allowing artists to prioritize what elements of the page should be given the greatest attention.

Left Page

Left page in the context of graphic design is the page on the left side of a given page when the book or magazine is held in the normal reading position. It is the rightmost page when the book or magazine is held in the bookbinder's position. The left page is usually the start of the reader's page journey, and it usually contains visual elements that act as an introduction to the content inside and draw the reader in. This page is used to quickly capture the attention of the reader, and to help them visualise the journey they will find inside. Some of the elements that can be used on the left page are typography, graphics, illustrations, photography and sculptures.
