Le Campus Multifunctional Space
Le Campus Multifunctional space is an innovative and transformative interior design project that reimagines the traditional concept of MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and events) spaces within a hospitality setting. Located on the mezzanine floor of a prestigious hotel near Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, this 800-square-meter space represents a revolutionary approach to collaborative workspaces, drawing inspiration from American college campus environments. The design philosophy centers on liberating users from conventional meeting space constraints, fostering creativity and collaboration through thoughtfully planned zones that seamlessly flow between social and private areas. The space's core comprises open-plan social centers, game rooms, and library areas that encourage spontaneous interaction and brainstorming, while satellite offices and meeting spaces form a functional perimeter that maintains connection to the central hub. Distinguished by its bold aesthetic choices in color, texture, and artistic elements, the space demonstrates exceptional commitment to sustainability through the use of environmentally conscious materials, including Amtico flooring known for its energy efficiency and waste reduction properties. The project, completed in 2014, garnered international recognition by winning the Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2016, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design and its successful integration of functionality with creative freedom. The design's emphasis on durability and low maintenance ensures long-term environmental sustainability while creating an atmosphere that inspires users to think differently and collaborate more effectively.
