KS Apartment Residential

KS Apartment Residential

KS Apartment Residential is an award-winning duplex apartment renovation project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of industrial chic aesthetics with comfortable living spaces. Located in Jabal Amman, Jordan, this 640-square-meter residential transformation masterfully connects two previously separate apartments into a cohesive living environment that balances peaceful simplicity with captivating complexity. The design philosophy draws inspiration from natural elements, manifested through the thoughtful manipulation of light, carefully curated shades of grey, and the interplay of contrasting textures including wood, black steel, and large-format tiles. The spatial arrangement features an open-plan concept that creates distinct functional zones while maintaining visual continuity throughout the space. The renovation encompasses two large master bedrooms, a sculptural staircase, and multiple living areas including a seating area, TV space, dining section, smoking area, and an open kitchen highlighted by an expansive marble bar. The project's distinctive character emerges from its consistent material palette and meticulous attention to detail, where structural elements are ingeniously integrated into the design rather than concealed. This sophisticated approach earned the project a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial innovation and design execution. The renovation successfully addresses the challenge of creating an art exhibition-like experience within a residential context, while maintaining functionality and comfort for daily living.
