Founded in 2015, this sophisticated periodical deliberately challenges conventional text presentation by uniquely combining various literary forms including essays, articles, and poetic works within a thoughtfully curated layout featuring three distinct grid systems. The magazine's design philosophy explores the boundaries between different textual forms, presenting them in novel contexts that diverge from their typical publication formats. Originally printed in Berlin newspaper format, the publication underwent a significant redesign in 2020, adopting a more compact 220 x 275 mm dimension with 52 pages, utilizing eco-friendly recycled Vivus paper (90g/m² for content, 250g/m² for cover) and sustainable inks. Each issue features exclusive illustrations by different creative artists, providing a visual framework that complements the literary content. The magazine's commitment to sustainability and quality earned it a Bronze A' Design Award in the Print and Published Media Design category, recognizing its innovative approach to editorial design and environmental consciousness. This annual publication, managed through a collaborative effort across Munich, Berlin, and Switzerland, demonstrates excellence in typography, layout design, and sustainable production practices, while maintaining a strong focus on cultural discourse and literary exploration.
